This Merlot shows exuberant dark fruit aromas of briary black cherry alongside spice notes of allspice and ginger. On the palate, there are elements of cassis, and the mouthfeel is rich with rounded tannins. The structure on the palate is softer and more approachable, with great acidity. A year of aging in European oak barrels added hints of sweet oak spices and dark espresso which are evident on the long finish.

This Cabernet Sauvignon shows bright red berry fruits on the nose, alongside delicate floral notes of lavender and violet. Baking spice notes of caramel, black pepper, and clove also come through, an indication of the well-integrated oak character. On the palate, juicy cassis, blackberry, and red cherry are supported by hints of delicate red rose, tobacco leaf, and earthy forest floor, giving this Cabernet a richness and layered texture. Crispy, firm tannins provide a pleasurable mouthfeel with refreshing fruit and balanced acidity, developing into a long, smooth, dry finish.

The Chardonnay has lively aromas of delicate Meyer lemon, orange blossom, fresh white peach, and delicate honeysuckle, supported by more subtle notes of Tarte Tatin and brioche toast (a nod to the well-integrated French Oak). Fresh, vibrant, and mouthwatering, the palate is crisp with layers of ripe Golden Delicious apple, guava, and warm Asian pear, backed up by a luscious texture that is rich and balanced. Well-integrated notes of vanilla, allspice, and crème brûlée lead to a lengthy finish that is full and bright.

The included corkscrew is double hinged, crafted with wood, stainless steel, and a non-stick worm, and is as gorgeous as it is functional. 

This set also includes a Kentucky Derby-inspired horse bottle stopper, crafted from pewter. With a stately design, the metal stopper with rubber seal provides a secure fit to most wine and spirit bottles.
